I found through experience that there is a HUGE range in quality in aftermarket windshields. Many (many, many) years ago I had replacement that was like looking through wavy fish tank glass...it was horrid. I can't speak to what quality replacements are, but the way I saw it, I knew what I would get with OEM. Also, I was told (and might be incorrect) the OEM is Saint-Gobain Sekurit.
