Oh yes.... the deathtrap track! Haha (at least it was on a superbike).....

Knocked myself cold there at turn 7 one time ..... destroyed a bike there at turn 2 a different time....

They have done a bit of work on it a bit last I was last there, and it’s better... but still... lots of fun!

I haven't been there since about '03.
At that time, there was a berm of dirt at the outside of the exit of T1, to keep anyone running wide from running into traffic at the exit of T2. Yeah.... on a superbike, we referred to it as "the jump".

And the back straight? Yeah.... if you blew your brake markers, there was a dumping yard for broken -up concrete at the runout.

And you had to be really careful adding power as you came onto the front straight, because that was the burnout lanes for the dragstrip.... very inconsistent surface / traction, with a steel plate covering where they would install the tree for drag racing.

It was horrible.
