Drove over 200 miles on the glorious Blue Ridge Parkway on the way to BRBS18. This is why we bought this car. What a road, with hardly any traffic.

Took a little cow country drive on Scott Road near Rancho Murietta, CA. Kind of hot, but nice.

Lowered the driver's side window and heard a pop. Now the window won't go up. Then there was a thunderstorm. Got it covered just in time. Guess I'll be doing door surgery tonight. At least I've done the passenger side before and think I have any parts I'd need.
Edit: Got it done before dark. It was broken plastic on the regulator. I used the 101 Projects book the first time I did it. Piece of cake now.

When I bought my car in Cali and drove it the long way home to Montreal, this was one of my fondest memories. I think it was a Tuesday morning, early spring, perfect day, top down, nobody for miles. I absolutely kept to the 35 mph limit!

Earlier this week I got the factory GT3/Aero kit bumper and factory side skirts mounted. It has been a long process of acquiring the factory parts thru e-Bay (bumper) and side skirts (Suncoast- their last set for $695 plus shipping- a steal) finally painted and mounted.

Normally I'm not a big fan of aero kits, but that looks amazing! Nice job!

Hey, that looks familiar, congrats! I found the bumper and side skirts on eBay about 1 year apart. Consider the GT3Tek rear bumper/diffuser piece. I think it finishes the look and blends with the OEM GT3 look (search the forum or their website for a pic, I don't have a good one now).
In my opinion it makes the Boxster look almost like new. No one believes me when I tell them mine is a 14 year old car.

Yea, your car was one of the ones that made me decide to pull the trigger on getting it done. I like the GT3Tek rear diffuser but struggle with keeping it OEM or not.Plus will it fit on the "04 because of the factory diffusers? I am seriously debating the Carrera lights that you have. Always loved them, If I had any other 17's than the ones I have, I would have already replaced them. I'd love to put the aero kit I rear spoiler as I like it better than the aero kit II wing, but it wouldn't be OEM correct.

Replaced the Frunk Strut Supports.
It's nice having the hood raise itself (from about half way or so) and STAY UP.....instead of hitting me on the head all the time.

That looks AWESOME!!! If I didn't have 122K miles on my 01S, I'd be sorely tempted to do the same.
