Do you have a Durametric to check the camshaft deviation - another indication of ramp wear.
That's what I figured - I have gone with 5/40 oil and will check at next oil change.
I am taking the car in for an exhaust leak/rattle, so I will have them do a Durametric.
For info. the car is 2001 with 48,000 miles.
