Changing Fan Series Resistor

You have to cut the wires coming from the fan motor and splice the wires from the new resistor into them. Leave the motor wires as long as possible. I joined the wires with crimp connectors that I filled with rtv silicone to keep out the weather.

While you can change the resistor by just loosening the wheel liner, its highly suggested that you remove the bumper cover and thoroughly clean the radiators if you haven't done it recently.
