BTW - have to throw a bit of politics in this - I asked if I should contact my state rep and senator for help, since I'm a taxpayer.

Answer: Absolutely not - they always stay away from Federal cases .....

I really enjoy the Porsche part of the website and I am sorry for your troubles but you can keep your political views to yourselves. It figures that the source of the problem would be the lounge. So I am glad that your politics did not ruin a good source of Porsche knowledge. Maybe there is a lesson here...

Another country heard from!

I love the color or your car. Custom or Porsche color?

I'm sorry for what you guys have gone through, but...

... thanks so much for posting.
I wasn't aware of what was going on.
You may have saved me a lot of aggravation as well.
Contribution on the way.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

The forum Paypal address is: 986forum1@comcast.net

Bump - Payment sent - included Paypal address in the title because it took me awhile to find it in the thread. Hopefully that helps others.

Thanks again for a great site!

Sorry this has happened to you guys.

I’ve always wondered why this Forum never collected a fee, many on the web do. You are just as deserving.

Interesting that none of the site sponsors have stepped up yet. Where's Jake and others??

As unfortunate as this event has been, just remember the money you saved from the Red Line Water Wetter debacle and fraud perpetrated a few years ago, and keep everything in perspective. Karma? That could have really brought you guys down. You guys settle that one pretty well, by banning MNBoxster, aka Jim, aka Andy, and letting him come back as Lil Bastard. That was a close one.

not to say they should or should not, have or have not... but they already support the site financially by the ads they purchase - i am assuming. my opinion of them does not change whether they have donated or not.

(just my .83-cents adjusted for inflation)

Site Donation

[QUOTEflavor987S=Interesting that none of the site sponsors have stepped up yet. Where's Jake and others??
I don't think there's any reason for any member - or sponsor (IMO) to feel compelled to post up that they have helped. It's important for those involved to feel free to contribute as they are able and feel good about. The forum admin.s know who has done what and that's what matters.

Bill, Steve makes a good point. The sponsors may have well contributed but not posted that they've contributed.

Steve, I contributed and posted that I contributed not to be proud about the donation to the cause, but to create momentum for others to in turn contribute.

Now I would love to contribute MORE to a legal fund that would pay the fees incurred for Richard to fight these bastards in court and get his settlement monies back and then some.

I understand completely. Now it's time to go out for a bike ride. 9,000 feet and gorgeous.
