Hi Jaay, I have a nice 3.4 swapped 986 and am considering upgrading with a raptor supercharger . Did you do some research in terms of adding an SC?(There is a company here (NL) that uses Raport superchargers. Target is about 380/400 HP at the crank

I think it was a great response. I posted my budget over there. under 1500 would be great. Concord doesn't look like to much of a trip. It's about 125 miles once I land in Ct. from the ferry off Long Island.

Thanks again for your help. It's nice that I can trust someone on this. I hate bike shops after my last experience. Bought a couple mid road trail bikes (KHS and a Diamond back) I ride the KHS. We were up at Killington and kinda my own fault, we were out on the trails and my forks loosened up and I didn't have a tool on me. The shop that I bought it from "went over" the whole bike the day before we left. The whole damn bike was loose. Kinda like my cars I redid the whole thing so I know it's good to go.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Jaay,
I hope that my response didn't come across as being too vague . I'm trying to strike a balance between being informative and at the same time being diplomatic; especially when it comes to recommending a specific brand of bike . Anyway, give me an idea of what your budget is, and I'll come up with some recommendations. Also, if need be, I can assist you with a fitting at a friend's shop in Concord, Mass. You can make it a boxster road trip !
