You don't need S caliper & rotors unless you're tracking the car

I run 245 in the front and they have a lot more grip than the factory 205 or 225. So I couldn't get ABS to kick in on the track. So I upgraded my rotors / calipers to S since I intend to continue tracking the car.

If you don't go to the track, then I would suggest getting cross drilled rotors and OEM "Sport" pads - You can get them from Jeff Clark at Sunset Porsche (dealer cost + 15%). I think Vertex Auto carries cross drilled rotors.

All the best!

1) What pads does the forum recomended to use ? I want pads that grip well but don't eat away at the rotors and won't squeal.

2) Can I replace the stock base rotors with S cross drilled rotors and still use the base caliper ? Is there truely a benifit to the S rotors ? What about S calipers ? Other than red are they different ?
