First thing is a soap and water wash, followed by a solvent wipe (pre-kleeno).

I don't recommend spray can primer unless it's also an adhesion promoter, like Bulldog.

Any paint supplier will work, just make sure they have a system that can check for variations on your color.

Some Honda colors now have up to 18 different formulas for the same paint code.
