Thanks again guys. Porter Cable it is then, the price is a bit more palatable also. I had been using a Wen unit that my father bought / used in the 70's, it was built like a tank and nearly weighed as much, it finally gave up the ghost a couple a years ago. I'm not very fanatical about polishing / waxing cars but in working on the Boxster in the past few days I've noticed alot of fine scratches in the clear coat, time to do something about it.
