violametallic-S- 2001 RUF 3800S Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Ontario, Canada Posts: 326	Just did a Royal Purple Oil change, smoke? I just did a oil change on my 01 Boxster S. First time using Royal Purple i went with 5w-30 hopefully thats a wise choice, because after I got home i read about pedro switching to 10 50 to prevent RMS leak. The main thing here is I noticed black smoke from the exhaust when hard on the throttle. And I never had this before. So im assuming this is a good thing and the oil is cleaning out the internals of the engine, am i correct?
