MPToledo - I indeed saw that thread, but wasn't sure if you had taken the filter completely off, or just the housing to get the o-ring back on the canister. Thank you for your input. I was imagining a steady stream of oil flowing out once the filter itself was pulled out and off.


Yea, I said WTF and figured "better safe than sorry". I was waiting on niagra falls of oil to start gushing out, but was pleasantly suprised. just make sure your engine is cool as it could really burn you.
