Problem giving copy of Boxster S title?

Thanks. He basically implied he wanted to see a copy of the title to make sure I was legit, and the title was clear/clean, which it is.

I sent him a scanned black & white copy in .pdf format - I cannot see how he could make it into a real one. I did notify my DMV office and am waiting for them to reply.

Yeah, I could see how he might be able to use it to scam someone else into thinking it is his car, etc. But my car is locked/alarmed in my garage all the time so stealing it is not really a possibility, especially where I live.
