Santa is NOT Coming to Town!

Well, all my projects for my Boxster are officially on hold.

One week before Xmas and both me and my wife got laid off from Midway Studios Austin. They shut the whole studio down. So if anyone here is in the Video Game or Film Industries looking to hire a Lead or Senior Level Environment Artist and a Producer specializing in Outsourcing let me know...

Tough time to get laid off. Best of luck to you two. Keep your head up. Good things will come.

that sucks! what a rotten time lay people off...

it's a sign of the times - more and more businesses are going under. not that it will make your situation any better - but I don't think you are going to be alone - it is going to get worse before it gets better.

I"m starting to think I shoudl invest in drugs and alcohol - because as this economy gets worse, the only thing to bet on is that people will want to get high/drunk to avoid the reality that is the US economy...

the budget may be tight - but somehow the people on food stamps and welfare always seem to have money for cigarettes and booze...

keep your chin up and don't give up. something will turn up.

OUCH! Sorry for that!

But, take the bright side and put it behind you until after the holidays and enjoy the extra time you both have together and with friends.

Things will work out for you after the start of the new year, I sure.

I do believe a liquor store is a recession proof business.

When it rains it pours I suppose. In addition to my wife and I getting laid off right before Xmas someone ran into my Boxster while I was at a movie today. F'd up my bumper on the passenger side. No note. Nobody saw it. Dammit. :ah:
