88K miles on the clock. I got to drive this car the other day and damn is it fast. You can drive it like a normal car but, as soon as you put your foot into it, it takes off like a rocket hitting 2 bars on the turbo meter. It only weighs about 2700lbs. This is one of the 10 Porsche's and growing my dad owns.
He told me last night that he remembers when this car first came out, he was working at Texaco at the time and said he'd like to have one but, couldn't afford it at that time. Now, 30 years later he has the car he drooled over for years. :dance:
He also picked this up in Colorado last week. It's a 52' 356 Pre-A with a 912 motor and the original in a crate. Beautiful car inside and out.
