In addition to my 1 week old 2007 S, I also have an 01 330i with 40k miles on it, and the wifey drives the lads around town in a 2003 Ody.

Hey Jim, I almost bought those same wheels (on the lotus) for my BMW. Are they old 3 piece BBS RA's or something? My shop techer used to be a race car driver in Germany and had them on his ferrari so they unfortunately didnt fit.

Hi,

Good Eye! They are BBS wheels, but one-piece - proprietary for the Lotus Turbo Esprit...

Jim, do you have any old pictures of the Ferrari you once owned?

My "other cars" live in Portola Valley. Keep your wife FAR away from owning these things! If it weren't for the wife and daughter's hobby, I could afford a 997 Turbo!

Oh well, gotta keep 'em happy!

Hi,

I have tons of pics of my old cars - Ferrari 308 GTSi (Quatrovalve) , '63 E-Type, Austin-Healey 100M, Triumph TR3 'A', MGB, Lotus Elan SE, Lotus Europa Big Valve Twin Cam SE, Toyota MR2, '68 Porsche 912, '66 Mustang Fastback Hi-Per, '70 Buick Gran Sport Stage II, '63 SWC Corvette, etc.

But, they were all scanned into a Zip drive on my old comp before it died. The Zip Drive was the chassis type and there isn't an open slot on my comp., so I'm gonna have to get an old external Zip drive so I can transfer the pics from the Zip files to CD-ROM.

They virtually all film images, so I do have them in a book, but can't show that digitally... However, this is a pic of another 308 GTSi in the same livery as mine was, but it's not my car...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

My other cars are a 5 speed Jetta 1.8 Turbo that I recently sold and an old Golf. The Golf is my wife's practice car (just learning to drive), but it ran so well, I sold the Jetta.

Next winter, we'll pick up a small SUV, like a CRV or something. In the meanwhile... after the snow melts, it will be Boxster all freaking summer!

My other car is a '02 Hyundai Elantra. Great in the snow and very practical. Plus its paid for.

My other ride is an '04 Kawasaki ZX-10R, which is also paid for. I used to have 4 sportbikes in my garage, but now I'm down to one and a Porsche.

I recently bought my fiance an '07 Civic EX. That's a fun little car to drive. Its the coupe and handles amazingly well. Honda really knows how to build a good car.

Very very nice little car, great on gas and does handle very well indeed.

I use my 986 for the daily driver in the States and they just ordered me a 5 series Bimmer for in Germany ( I was trying for a used GT2). My other car is a '81 911SC with way too many upgrades and too little time to drive it, the wife drives one of those Caddy SUV things that suck gas but it keeps her happy and sits well in the driveway so I can have the garage
