Some of us have an issue about paying for the consequences of illegals and others who choose not to purchase auto insurance. That is not bigotry nor racism, simply common sense and self protection of our person and property.
Ok - I take back the bigot.

But now you want to "defuse the situation"? What happened to your let's all get together and make the situation insanely inflamed by creating "a Porsche sponsored lynching?" attitude.

Humor is just not appreciated with a tight attitude. If you go back and read my posts, I was trying to jest. It is obvious to me that I was not advocating real lynching, simply a reflection of the upset that can accompany such an event when you are on the receiving end of a car accident.

My advice to you is to lighten up, and get more rigorous in your communication. A bit less rightousness would not hurt either.

Now, you can choose to let it go or keep on with the attitude.

This is the classic defense . . . "I wasn't really sexually harassing you, I was just kidding." or "We weren't really going to kill him, we just wanted to scare him."

You know those old westerns where someone says "string him up" and the mob goes wild, In my one experience of being chased by a crazed mob that is pretty much how it happened. I wonder if they said it in jest.

I did let it go...but then porsche986 upped the ante to beheading. You may not have meant it, but you started it. You may not have meant to encourage his comments, but it seems you did. See.. this is how it starts.

Brucelee, I seriously have nothing against you and I hope we can amicably exchange thoughts on other threads.

On this thread, you started the words of retribution and hate - I guess we all have to live with the consequences.

What'd you do to get chased by an angry mob?

The wrong race in the wrong neighborhood in a dangerous slum back in the 70s when tempers were flaring. Fortuitously, I wasn't one of the 3 classmates killed that week. Part of a childhood that I am glad to have left far behind.
