From what I can see on Renntech, the best place to put the antenna is under the cover that holds the LED for the security system in the middle of the dash.

I decided to buy one. I was going to send my CDR-220 to Becker to have the peeling buttons and sticky knobs repaired. The cost of the Traffic Pro is higher than rehabbing the CDR-220, but I think it would take at least two weeks to have the radio serviced. I guess I can always sell the CDR-220 after I install the Traffic Pro and recoup part of my cost.

I agree that the Traffic Pro should be plug and play, but I saw several posts on Renntech that said that the amp wouldn't turn on without the wire swap.
