It's funny, the price of the SS kit is less than a tank of gas right now and it honestly is the best possible thing I could have done for joy of driving.

Dj, I think der Geist was saying, "do not waste money on the expensive ones, the cheap ones are just as good. Use the saved cash for wheels" In about 1/3 the words.

The cheap ebay short shifters have quality control issues. The bushings aren't the same size. It may 'fit', but not correctly. There is a reason why they're cheap.

If you want a quality fit, go with the B&M short shifter, since they are the ones that OEM the Porsche short shifter. I've also heard postive things about the Schnell shifter as well.

I have the BM kit, works great for over 3 years now.
