Sounds like you got a great deal then. The dealership should be able to reprogram the millage. They need a special type of computer to do it though. People on this forum have changed their gauge cluster to the 996 with the oil pressure gauge and volt gauge. They had to have it re-programed afterwards to reflect the correct millage, so it can definitely be done.
