Nice looking car.

Next time I am going to be out in LI, I will have to drop you a line. I would love to get a closer look at it.

Enjoy and let us know what happens after the break-in period!

Tell me about it...SoCal is where this car belongs... Not on these crappy ass, non-maintained roads. Their idea of fixing a crack is to put a hump over the entire interstate that acts like a speed bump at 70mph.

Dr.Kill, I'm in Westchester too and NYC all the time...swing on by!

Did you get the color matching hardtop? Or did it come with the black ones? I like that model. Thank god you did not get the big extra spoiler added. That color looks great too!

Adam, she wasn't cute, but she was really tall

porsche986spyder, I disagree with you regarding the spoiler. The Exige I saw this weekend had one, and I thought it looked pretty sharp...

Something was wrong with your Boxster then.

I've been in a Elise when it was wide open,2nd cam was kicking in,hard turns and everything. While it had an edge on the Boxster by no means did it make my Box feel like a dump truck. Perhaps saying the Boxster feels mild would be a more accurate comparison.

Bavarian, let me know if you are out in suffolk or anywhere on the island.. I would love to check it out. My brother and I almost bought a pair of exige s's but just decided not to. BUT we never got the chance to get in one. If you do have the time let me know, I'll be there.
Thanks
J

Hey guys,

The Exige is the car that comes with the wing and the front splitter and also an engine cover. It is necessary and beneficial because it is a track oriented car.

The Elise comes like this...no wing.

JAAY: I am in Long Island right now as I usually am. I am actually heading out your way tomorrow to rack up some mileage on her...I don't mind heading out to the North Fork if you have some free time!

That looks great!

To make it exactly like an Exige, you'd need the fastback engine cover and the wing would be mounted to that instead of the rear, but that looks pretty good!!!!

I want to get black wheels
