Plasti dipping is kinda fun, but removing the over spray protection is a pita.
I had some cans sitting on my shelve for quite some time.

I finally finished my headlights by adding some bespoke plastidipped chrome trims to the blinker cutouts. Changed my chrome intake meshes + car signs to black, after plasti dipping the fuchs wheels black.

Proof of concept: I had it sitting for years, because it would not fit the Z-TOP

After some modifications on the Z-TOP (cut 3mm on each side + add further grooves, Multitool is your friend): The cheap chinese latch can be replaced with the OEM HardTop latch

And yes, I will have a bodyshop cure those cut outs with fiberglas and paint.
As I am preparing a TÜV approval, I want to replace as many Z-TOP accessories with OEM parts.
Next iss the brake light: Z-Top included a cheap chinese LED brake light any E-number. CURE: CAYMAN 1st gen brake light.
Had it sitting for years, but it would not fit the Z-TOP brakelight molding. It is too narrow.
Next step: Ask the multitool for support. It sshould be possible to mod the molding and the OEM brakelight to make it fit. A little challenge though.
