Hmmm is right. If you have it already...lets see what you can do with it. You know I am always interested in someone else's creativity. It looks heavy though...my grill was only 2 pounds in the end and I still used
2-component glue
3M professional tape
2 gigantic screws to secure it.

Oddly enough its not heavy at all. It's a Porsche part but is made of a softer rubber type plastic. Trying to find a way to cover my hatch mistake I made on installation. I've already cut it up and I think I may use part of it.

lol...i forgot to update the photos of my racing pedals. They fit pretty well, heel&toe is way more comfortable now, and yes … 1 screw is missing because of a design flaw

I just love 'em...

It changes the throttle/gas pedal response, 3 settings: normal-sport-agressiv.

I recently received the booklet for the new 911 from my P-dealership. They were cross referencing the classic 911 interior styles and showing wooden interior examples…without words

drool...

tinker season is starting soon, so that is the plan, kinda ....uhm...probably not.
There are some laws and regulations concerning the position of rear car reflectors...they need to high and close to the edge.
So...this plan and color is obsolete....nvm, lol.

Left Top liner hook...finally in place again. Here a photo of the right one's location. You have to uninstall the side cover trim first to have better access to it, Top closed. A stick and patience is the key to success.

Finishing a lot of put aside little jobs atm, … from fixing dome lights to strategic cable management for door speaker plus16.5cm upgrades, etc...i stumbled over another forgotten project...ambient lights without those nasty pheeping converters. I think that might work with my interior upgrade project "cocoa".
4 seperate LEDs with fiberglas cables, endless color Combos, brightness adjustable and the LEDs don't get too hot. That fiberglas can be tugged in pretty good, so it will be more like a indirect ambient light, instead of a glowing cable, which is right in your eyes.

I left mine in and love them (EL wire), I don't care what anyone else thinks. They look great in person and are not at all bright at night (exposure is turned up in the below photo).

To deal with the high frequency whine, I encased the converter in about 1.5" of high density foam. You can't hear a thing.

Looks cool. I tried EL strings + converters which I had from a PC...worked for a day, but the converter was running waaaay too hot...so I said, "screw that". Then I discovered the above solution "TABEN Car Interior Decoration Atmosphere Light LED" (on Amazon).

I'll give it a try

Yeah, I understand you completely. Since 2018 I go along JB's line "I might not make it that long"
Hopefully Fred's announcement becomes true in 2019
Something like those would end up in: "Shut up and take my money"...lol.

that is how it worked out...hopefully TÜV/Polizei/law compliant...it should be...reflectors need to be E- and -IA marked, max 40cms from outer edge with a minimum height of...can't remember anymore...lol.
They fit PERFECTLY in my alu bumpers. And I upgraded to LED license plate lights...Soffitten from Philips with 4000k white...for my taste still a little too bright, but at least not like those funky 6000k bright white ones.
I wish I could find 3000k LEDs.
