grinded and shaped the grill for a perfect fit.
Will use 3M VHB 4941/4991...and maybe some thin chrome tape underneath...like my original design. Rounded upper corners, maybe?

I think square like the top pic. Goes with the flow of the contour of the side of the hatch.

Looks great!!

your trunk is now the perfect place for an air to air intercooler for the twin-turbo setup. i recommend aerocharger - variable vane, no need for a bov, and self-lubricating.

snow is going ...in the meantime...WIP
yep...it is sitting REALLY firm already (i might add 2 screws to make it 1000% bullit proof)...the chrome trim above is just an idea...next move: extension of the black rose stripe.

ok...stripes are done...now finalizing details like Chrome stripes, etc...
the Roof will be next as soon as we see temps going towards 15-20°C.
The frunk will be last and the most difficult for sure.

Looks great! The top was the hardest for me to apply my stripes to. The fronk wasn't bad at all.

Oh and the front bumper is a pain too.
I like the Z where it is.

I'd say leave the "Z" with the 2.7 and ditch the faux Cayman badge.

Move "Porsche" down below where you have the Cayman (after you toss it ).

2.7 looks kind of cool. I don't need the other badges.

THE SUN...I thought I would never see it again.
A lot of dust on my Z-Top...and the 3rd brake light wiring was not connected!
Jeeez, why do I always keep myself busy with additional, unecessary work
Now everything is working again, even the "new" 981 brake lights.
They are bright...and the task is to make them work on the upper rear window...challenge accepted.
now the provided cheapy eBay ones can go...

JB, do you have a chance to check, if the original centre catch could possibly fit. The manual says, it should, but for some funky reasons I mistrust, let's say non Porsche manuals.
I really would like to switch to OEM. That provided catch is okay, but it is very inconvenient to handle. I really recommend to get as many OEM parts as possible for the Z-Top, including screws.
