more pics

Here's some pictures after paint. The wideness of the body from the doors back is just enough that it looks stock, nothing to crazy. Hopefully you can make it out better in these pictures now that there is some color on it. Notice to I had to slice and plastic weld the rear bumper to fit the wider body.

I am seriously considering designing my own all aluminum "targa" top. Kinda like a zientop with t-roofs. Might be cool, or a disaster, won't know till I try it!

Looks good. Will 996 wheels fit the rear now?

Thank you, I am hoping so, I haven't addressed the wheels yet. I have about 1.75" distance between the wheel well lip and the tire, so I can fit something nice and wide in there. I probably will look for something nice in the aftermarket, BBS, etc.

looks very targa-ish. I think you could accomplish the same with a modified cayman hatch (there is actually a guy in PQ making CF cayman hatches on ebay). install some 987 windows, an alu hoop, a canvas top and some lexan quarter windows and done.

Thanks Radiumking, that's very close to what I had in mind, its nice to be able to picture it better with the help of you pictures. Thank you for contributing.
