Visors:
I really didnt mind since it matches the yellow in the interior,
but based on the feeback here, im gonna get them properly wrapped in alcantara
this week! i think i have too many stickers to even consider the thought of another sticker on the car. (lol) Acantara it is!
Ill load the pics when done!
ill just use black stitch i dont want to over do the yellow - what do you think)
Thanks Guys!

So here is the car without the stickers for those that appreciate a more calm look.
i guess i get to enjoy 2 different worlds and can swap easily anytime.
its like having 2 nice cars in one.
the funy thing is with the decals on, people on the street have no clue what kind of car it is. they actually thinks its some kind of super car and bust out their cameras - no one ever said they didnt absolutely love it.
either stickers or without, its a blast!

I like last pic with no stickers. I actually really like the look of the whole car. The hood would just not work for me as I put luggage in there for road trips. But I understand it is a show car. Nicely done.

I'm more old school with the key word being old but I can certainly appreciate your work. Like I tell my kids, you have to do what makes you happy and not worry about what every one else thinks or wants. Sounds like you have more work to do but when you are done, you are going to have a very unique car so enjoy! I can recommend the eBay stickers for the visors, they are nearly invisible unless you know, others won't notice unless it is pointed out to them. Oh, and welcome to the forum!

While I like most of your mods. ( not a fan of the gauges mounted on the hood, old school hot rod style ), I cannot imagine spending that much money on a 2002 Boxster.
It will probably cost more than a good used turbo or Ferrari/ lambo in the long run and will never be worth as much.

The real test of all those cool mods is the girls you got to take for a ride,
and I want to see pictures too!!!
That car is just begging for some Bikini clad girls lounging all over it.
Having lived in the Toronto area I know that you could get those girls to pose topless as well.
Do they still have the topless squeegee college girls on the off ramp to downtown?
Thank god for the high price of an education
There are a couple things I miss even with living in California!

Looks exotic! It is always interesting to see what people do to their cars. Although it isn't my taste, it easily looks like a rare super car. I imagine though that it is supercar price with all the mods done with it! I'd love to see how the turbo and engine workout, keep us posted and good luck!

Dang that car is sick...in a good way. I like the decked out version...tho maybe withouht hood gauges. But very cool. Definitely a great head turner and show car...
What seats are those? Did you custom upholster the original seats?

Thanks for the compliment mcomet!
Yes the seats "were" the originals!
had them completely remade using real italian leather and alcantara with yellow stitch and the porsche logo embriodered.
They are actually much much nicer than the originals.
(especially the way they feel) and the smell of real leather is a nice bonus.
Thanks again for the positive feedback... i really do appreciate it!

xtre986.... This car is a an absolute work of modern art!! I really love it! I am very much new school, probably due to my age, and I really do think you have done an utterly fantastic job!! Good work and keep us posted on your progression.

Yes, the OEM Steering wheel was custom hand sewn
using perforated leather and alcantara.
and the air bag is fully functional as well.
extra pading making it a bit thicker is what i love the most.
The grip and feel of the wheel is now truly awsome!

Here is a two-tone paint like I wanted to see. Okay, three-tone.
I like it a bunch, despite my (old) age.

I can appreciate the hard work that went into this car, and it is evident you have a passion for it. I think the car looks good. I do like the rear wing, especially in the side view, because it is actually on the back of the car. In my opinion, most wings look hideous on the boxster for the simple fact they are mounted halfway up the trunk lid. What brand wing is it?

Haha! I've said it before, but Canadians are Crazy!!!
To each, his own, I guess.
Nice work, I suppose, but ugh...must be a Northern thing.

Lol..hang on! It's not a northern thing..I may be new here but Ive seen all sorts of "creative thinking" in here, south of the border! I appreciate the effort put into the car! Certainly some nice goodies on there and I'm close enough to hopefully see it in person one of these days!
