Nice job, eomak! The car looks great. Most will believe the Cayman name.

I think the bumperettes would look great painted.

Was that the white one that was up for sale here?

That top has my name on it. After spending this much in upgrades and maintenance there really is no reason for me not to pick one up.

You should add a Cayman R type spoiler to it. And do the PORSCHE decals for the doors. They come in magnetic plastic now. Saw that on Ebay recently. Voila instant Cayman R without spending $60K

Looks great but why the Cayman S emblems? I would have just had the 986 or Boxster on the back.

If you do manage to make them, and would do a racing version - then I will take one...

I am told that this company makes a top, but can not find any details on their web site - Boxt Cars

I sent them an email and was told that they do make them and that it costs from $2,900 usd to $5,900. usd and are built to order.

For a racing car, I think this is a bit to much for me to spend at the moment.

Please make it so that it disassembles into two parts if possible. How the heck do you store a hardtop of that size?

Why not simply hoist it to the ceiling in the garage? Pretty easy for other hard tops. Additionally, extra parts mean extra cost and potential leaks.

Then where do you find them? Pay massive amounts of money for the rare, used ones?
