Zeintop installed
Hi,bought this top off a peep from this forum in buy/sale section a year back, that lived near me out of luck and was painted same color already which matched well . Just wanted to show that it actually looks pretty good on.I think.Porsche/Boxster Cayman Upgrades - YouTube

Nice job, eomak! The car looks great. Most will believe the Cayman name.
I think the bumperettes would look great painted. |
Wow! That is amazing. Looks incredible. Top notch job.

Was that the white one that was up for sale here?
That top has my name on it. After spending this much in upgrades and maintenance there really is no reason for me not to pick one up. You should add a Cayman R type spoiler to it. And do the PORSCHE decals for the doors. They come in magnetic plastic now. Saw that on Ebay recently. Voila instant Cayman R without spending $60K http://autoweek.com/galleryimage/CW/...Cayman-R_2.jpg |
Who is the manufacturer of the top?
|
I need one of these, if anyone has one to sell, I'm planning to make a mould :)
|
Looks great but why the Cayman S emblems? I would have just had the 986 or Boxster on the back.
|
I wish someone would start making these tops again.
|
I'm trying to but need a top to get a mould off and modify a little :)

I am told that this company makes a top, but can not find any details on their web site - Boxt Cars I sent them an email and was told that they do make them and that it costs from $2,900 usd to $5,900. usd and are built to order. For a racing car, I think this is a bit to much for me to spend at the moment. |

Matt, it was already removed! I think it was a spam bot. Nice.....

I see, thanks.

Why not simply hoist it to the ceiling in the garage? Pretty easy for other hard tops. Additionally, extra parts mean extra cost and potential leaks.
|
Does Zeintec still make tops? I can't seem to find them anywhere online....
How did you find yours? They look AMAZING!!! I have a boxster in the summer and a cayman in the winter :P |
