Picking up Friday
Hello all, I am picking up my first Porsche this Friday. Best Christmas yet. We was out shopping for the wife a car and ran across this. It will be Home soon. It is a 2000 Zenith Blue. It is a close to mint as I have seen. Wife says I still have to drive my 325 as the daily driver but I think she just wants to drive it.

Welcome to the Forum!
Congratulations!
Looks to be in great shape. Great color combination!
I see it has factory installed Litronics. What other options? How many miles?

I will update over Christmas. I drove it over a month ago and put deposit on it. This has been a long December.
I know it has upgraded rims, heated seats, new seals, plugs, plug tubes (5000 worth of maintaince ).
It has 57,000 miles and records, along with being garage kept.

Thanks for the comments.
As for the color, it is my favorite color that I have seen on a Boxster - Car as for as that goes. This seems to be a very rare color. It looks like the changing paint - from different angles it looks different from a light blue to a light purple.
I did not have much time to really look at car. It was priced not to last, the dealer mainly deals in Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley and now has a Rolls. This was taken in on trade for a Lamborghini I believe. It was bringing down the value of his inventory. The work on the engine was done last month and I have receipts and all clear from service dept.
I was amazed at the paint condition, the seats have no wear and everything seems tight and clean. I am so excited to pick up Friday- trying to go Thursday!!

Same color as my wife Boxster, the paint looks five miles deep with a good coat of wax!

Welcome and congrats, sold similar colored 01S this fall. Replaced with silver 07S. Those wives seem to be of two types: Those who are happy we are happy in the garage "playing" with the toys. Or, those who find the Boxster as much fun as we do - that's how I got to move up. Sounds like category two is at your house. Enjoy.

it looks like it, and that is what we were told. I could not find a spot on car, no curb rubs, no wear on drivers seat, looks like nothing was ever in the trunk and would be a guess if there was ever a passenger.
I can see what you mean by the paint looking so deep. It is almost weird to look at, the color goes on and you can look at it and not really see the body( if that makes sense).
Question on that, she will be parked under roof at the house but we have a second place in Myrtle Beach. I have a generic car cover but would like a special made one to fit perfect, all of the ones that i have found seem more for inside then out. She will be outside while at the beach, so what would you recommend.

Well Today is the day!!!!! Headed out shortly to have an inspection done and drive around for the day. If all checks out, I know it will (seen the inspection from his local shop) We will be owners of a Boxster.
This is such a feeling- finally after all this years and just out of the blue the wife says buy it!!!!!! She is so awesome.
Going to be a long morning, waiting on her to get ready and then we have to make a side trip to pick up a Christmas gift for the youngest daughter.
Wife ask last night if we could put a personal plate on ---- "GIFT BOX" She is the best!!!

ok, couple of questions. When I put the car in park, the dash is blinking "R". 2nd is there any way to remove radio without the two little metal pieces. The battery was removed and now no code so no radio.
What a great ride, fun at highway speeds and even more in corners. Had a great trip.
