I did the exact same thing with the paint and the stickers. I have had no issues over the past 2 years either.

I haven't even put the spin locks in yet. The top is just on the car. Has not been cleaned yet and the car looks like poop right now sitting under its cover..AND the back garage has not been dug out since the last storm. I'll see what I can do for you after work though Sorry to hijack this thread.
