18inch 2008 Cayman wheels on 99 Boxster....

They fill out the wheel so much better. Tires as Mich Pilot Sport PS2 265 ZR40 18 rear and 235 ZR40 18 front. They fill out the void so much better than the stock 17. The ride is a little bit more bumpy. I think I need to lower the air a little more than normal.

We need some images where you can see the whole car to really judge how these rims look, pretty please!

Not normally a fan of mixing and matching models and wheel styles, but those do very much look like they could have been original fitment.

FYI, both your center caps are not pointing to the valve stem. ;)

Nice calipers!

have you had them painted to yellow? How about the decals, where did you get them? Are they just sticker type or something else?

Thanks!

Gunman:

Thanks!

I painted them by hand with a G-2 Caliper Epoxy Paint kit and bought decals on eBay from a seller who sells the decals in any color you might want.

After applying the decals, I covered them with a couple of coats of high-temperature clear.

Total cost was less than $50 and one afternoon.

Regards, Maurice.

But are the decals only like stickers? Wont it cook and wrunkle in high temperatures of the caliper?

They've been on there for about two years with no signs of any cooking or wrinkling. :)

I did the exact same thing with the paint and the stickers. I have had no issues over the past 2 years either.

Hey Mo! Happy holidays. I got the hardtop painted and is sitting on the car :)

I haven't even put the spin locks in yet. The top is just on the car. Has not been cleaned yet and the car looks like poop right now sitting under its cover..AND the back garage has not been dug out since the last storm. I'll see what I can do for you after work though :) Sorry to hijack this thread.

Hijacks are allowed for pics! :D
