    Maurice,

I followed your instructions for removing the top with the frame on my 02 Boxster and it was just as you said. Thank you for taking the time to write these up and take pictures. The problem I have is finding a shop that will sew in a rear window for me while the top is still on the frame. The boat shops won't touch it, and the car shops don't have a long arm machine. I am in the Bridgeport/New Haven area of Connecticut. Any suggestions where I might bring my top to get it repaired? I was going to try and put a new top on, but the process seemed a little more involved than I wanted to undertake and the installation shops around here wanted $2500+ to put a new top on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John

    Maurice,
I have a Boxster and I have aligned my clamshell perfectly when the top is up using your posts...thank you. My issue presently is that the driver's side rear (closest to the trunk) of the clamshell sits about 1/4 inch up from the passenger side only when the top is down. Thoughts?
    Mike
