Stebro Exhaust

Here is the Stebro exhaust I bought from ddb. This is 1 of 2 videos I am uploading to my shuttefly site as we speak. It's no Lamborghini but definitely a step up from stock...and for the price, I guess I should be happy as a lark. One day, I will figure out a noise cancellation technology to cure that resonance issue...or maybe someone from Bose will, who knows.

This video was done about 2 foot away from the exhaust. I have another video coming shortly which is done really close you can see the lens get smoked up whenever I rev.

Stebro Exhaust Upclose

FYI - You may want to pause it for a minute so that the video gets loaded up if you have limited bandwidth...otherwise the video gets kinda choppy.

Led

Hey guys, I found another site that carries the LEDs for the doors. This site actually resells their products in my local area, so I don't think anyone will have problems getting leds from them:

Very nice, trieullionaire! You relight my modding fire!

How are you finding the leather dye? It is durable? Does it peel? And is it soft enough to use on seats and not crack when you sit on it? What brand dye is it?

Color Dye

Jinster, thanks for the compliment. The color dye is actually made specifically for vinyl and leather. I researched it on the various Porsche forums including this one and came across ColorPlus.com. (I also came across Leatherique but went with ColorPlus because they sent me a leather care pamphlet).

So far so good...It took too many applications of paint to cover the grey interior dash and door parts that I never got around to doing the seats. I did test a small amount of it though on the seats and it does look like it penetrates the leather. On vinyl, since it doesn't really absorb it is more like a flex type paint than a dye in my opinion. But it works pretty good when you get the hang of it.

Glare

Actually I don't notice much glare at all. In person, it is more creamy in color...not the pure white like the Carrera white which would probably hurt your eyes with the top down. The other thing is it has somewhat a flat finish which doesn't reflect as much if it was glossy. I am contemplating whether to use Armor All on it though...to see how it would look still undecided.
