I assume it connects directly to the amp in the frunk, not the HU. That's how I wired up the PNP rear speaker kit; I'm not sure if the Bose option had a special amp or other hardware to support that...

If you have the frunk open, just disconnect the alarm horn. Takes 2 minutes; it is to the right of the battery tray, facing the car. I imagine if it is going off you will have no trouble finding...

Seems in the right ballpark to me. I just had IMSB & flywheel done for about $2K in labor. You're into them for a fair amount more work than just that. It certainly doesnt seem too far off market...
