Yep. My 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 has that and I have to say it is pretty annoying and wish I could disable it for track days (technically you can but it also disables the electric steering assist).

the last eight months or so I've had to make a lot of repairs to my 99. New top, new top transmission, front end links, rear trailing arms, power steering rack and this week new clutch and flywheel....

fwiw my vibration was related to a failing steering rack. New steering rack installed and the vibration I was complaining about has been remedied.
