I use Rain-X , doesn't work well around town but on the highways it's great.
At 50 + MPH I never use the wipers plus bugs don't stick to the glass as much.
I also use it on the headlights.

I've had the same thing happening I believe it's coming off the A/C - condensate - it only happens when it's hot and around 50 to 60 MPH.
