Tappet/ticking sound?

Hi Guys, Recently my 2001 3.2s has started making a faint tappet, or clicking sound, this rises and falls with the revs? Any suggestions before I go to the OPC?

* Dont go mad on cold tyres, people will spin off in front of you with!! Take it easy on the first couple of laps, others will spin...let yours tyres heat up....

Thanks for the comments...It did take bloody ages!! I even screwed it up at the first attempt as I used a paint that goes off in 4 hours...meaning that you cant do 2 coats.....but several tins...

How To Piant Your Side Vents

Hi, I am thinking about removing the side vents from my 2001 S and painting them from the stock black to colour coded silver, has anyone out there tried this? If so any hints and tips? :dance:

Looks good....I did the same a while ago....but used a smaller sized 'S' from a clubsport badge, painted and fitted....some say that I have put the badge up too high...but I prefer the position...

Thanks Nick......The S badge is from the Porsche Clubsport " CS" badge...had to cut the S off and sand it down to get the right curves. The 986 is from the 968 badge....but these only come in...
