Thanks for the tip!

My alternator is acting up. The light comes on and off. I changed the old-looking serpentine belt but that didn't change anything. Now to tinker with the alternator.

3yrs Garaged Boxster. How to prep it for driving?

So my '04 986 has been garaged for about 3 years. I asked someone to start it and give it some revs on occasion, but I am not confident in how much time or love the car has gotten since I'd left it 3...

It can be trusted, but I'd find out why. Winter sale? Distress sale? Death/divorce. Bad interior/exterior? Lots of legitimate reasons to sell a car for less than blue book or going market rate....

Sounds like something is just caught in there.

2000miles into my 3500 mile roadtrip, I fire up the car after stopping for dinner. Belt starts a very mild squeek, increases with revs but VERY minimal. Put the car into first, I hear a...

Two weeks 3500 miles. And I'm back.

Only one peculiar incident with the car... posting new thread about it now.

So much fun to drive this car even after a 12 hour day behind the wheel.
