If you aren't happy with the acceleration of the 986 boxster S, you'll quickly be bored of the 993. It's pretty much a pony race between the two except the boxster handles better. If I were you I'd get a 3.6L 996 or a C6 Z06 if you can afford one. That car will give you chest crushing acceleration.
