My 99 Boxster has a black replacement top by GAHH.
The seam is failing significantly at the top and bottom of the window. I've heard and Pedro has confirmed, they were replacing these tops under warranty as they are failing. When I emailed, I received this.

top in your photo has our first window bonding system going back from 1999 through 2006, which was heat-sealed with sewn piping around window edge and had a five (5) year warranty.
In 2008 we redesigned our window bonding system, which eliminated the sewn piping around window edge and named it UltraMaxx with a lifetime warranty.
Current price on a replacement top is $975.00 in original German A5 canvas, as a goodwill we will offer a 15% discount bring total to $828.75."
I don't think 15% is fair for a top that's failing, and has been garaged it's whole life. I want a replacement
