Based upon the glowing user reviews on the Tire Rack website, I have just ordered a set.

I have used these tires for about a month now, and I really like them.

These tires grip well, look great, and are very quiet. They do everything that one might reasonably want a street tire to do, and at a very affordable price.

In other world markets it is my understanding that these are labeled as Bridgestone Super-Gummy-Stickies, but here in the States they are trying to build upon the Firestone IndyCar connection.

Two thumbs up.

Thanks - DM

Just feels wrong to put an "Indy car tire" on a beautiful, precision German machine.

Ahh, but you forget that Porsche did indeed build a car for the IndyCar series from about 1988 to 1990, and they participated in the Indy 500 race during those years.

Teo Fabi was their primary driver, and the pictures below show him with his Porsche in the 1988 race (green) and the 1990 race (blue).

Ironically, though, at that time the official tire supplier for the series was Goodyear, as you can see in the pictures!
