Not really. He totally lost my interest when he selected a roller bearing and starting beating a "controlled size oil feed" with a piece of pointe metal and a hammer so that he could flood the IMS shaft with oil.

And how did he dare not to spend $15 - $25 K to rebuild his entire engine? I am sure his car will self-destruct at any moment.

Looks like another perfectly good dual row bearing replaced with a questionable bearing.

Absolutely true. I hope people don't use that idea to "fix" their cars the wrong way.
golfduke did a good aspect in his post from Aug. 12, 2016 9:01 a.m. concerning the grease to be used in this kind of bearing application.
