accusump switch?

Hi guys, anyone use an blank switch in the centre console or dash for there accusump? Thinking of getting a switch with a led in it, like the locking switch or heated window switch and using it-the led will indicated on/off.

I'm watching this thread, having an OEM type dash light and switch for an accusump with the EPC valve would be cool. I am envisioning it like this:

(o...o)

To enable the EPC valve press the left side of the button and the light comes on.

(*...o)

While driving, if the EPC activates to release oil, light the right hand light.

(*...*)

At the end of the session, rev up the engine to 3000+ and then press the left button to disable the valve.

(o...o)

An alternate workflow would be a switch with only one LED that changes color or blinks when the EPC valve activates.

I don't know enough electronics to make this happen (and I don't even have an accusump anyway) but I think this would be a cool way to do one.

Maybe with some sort of "Oil" type logo on the switch.

I have circuit planned of how I am going to do it, I just need to find the time to install my accusump which has been sitting in my cupboard for years! I have bought all the electronics to make the flip/flop circuit work with an OEM micro switch which I have also bought. I will post pics and a how to, it will be simple circuitry that the average person with minimal soldering skills will be able to tackle. Shouldn't be more that two weeks till I'm done. LED's changing colour or flashing for different scenarios is relatively easy. What would the idea capabilities of this electronic circuit be so that I can try design it to do that?
