The link doesn't really work - it's just a massive catalog page, it highlights your choice, but the "link" doesn't find the product.

So, McMaster.com, search for 9657k142. You have to buy at least six, it was 19.76 after shipping. OR.....

You can PM me and I can ship you one, $2 plus actual shipping, pay via paypal. I'll have 4 to get rid of, gonna keep 1 as a backup.

Mine should be here tonight, and I should have some driving impressions by tomorrow night.

39.76 lbs/inch for the McMaster-Carr, don't know about stock.

Ok, McMaster has been in since this AM, and I love it. It felt a little light at first since I've been no-spring most the week, but after some driving I think it is pretty dang great for a street car. Seems a little heavier than stock, little more feel, nothing drastic but definitely noticeable.

My only concern, not enough for me to change mine, but the spring itself is slightly shorter than stock, stock looks to be 4" long not 3.5". I just copied the Rennlist spring, so I don't know what the reasoning behind that was - although I can say from viewing that McMaster site that whoever picked it probably had a good grasp of what they were doing. It drives great, so no immediate concerns. Maybe someone who knows more can figure that out, or maybe it was explained in the original thread and I forgot.

Anyways, it's a great compromise between stock and no-spring, and exactly what I was looking for.

I also put in a 997 shifter last night, so it's like rowing gears in a whole new car.

I've read the whole thread but still dubious on what is being felt with the mod?
Is the clutch pedal going to be lighter to press in? or depresing faster?
