I hope Jake Raby's upcoming book has this quality of photos.

Good enough for you? There's 3500 photos, and not a single one is black and white. My photographer knows a thing or two about hi- res photos, and building files for technical publications. I have spared no expense with the book, the photos, and now the publication. I am finishing the book next month, should be on the shelves mid 2015.

Jake,
Your photos are exactly what I would have expected from you. Now for God's sake publish!Your timing will be perfect for me to read about all the mistakes I have made in the rebuild I am doing now. Yes, I am desperate for help.
I have worked on Project Gutenberg and offer my proof reading skills free to you on your galley proofs. You've given me lots of free help so it is the least I can do. And I'll sign the Raby Secrets Act :-).
Seriously - congratulations on the publication date. I would love to hear the reaction from the old Porsche engineers who worked on the M96 development to your magnum opus. I cringe imagining the shame - teutonic technical imperfections corrected by an American Marine . I read German so I'll forward any book reviews from Germany to you.

I'd like to be on the list for one of the first copies too. Please let us know the moment it's available.
I intended to come back and post in this thread that perhaps the most informative build pictorial is the one Jake did because he points out the potential pitfalls, not just "here's how to slap together the parts on your bench".

Thanks guys, I won't be selling the books. I try my hardest not to sell anything these days except engines.. I wish I didn't have to deal with selling those.
The books will first be distributed through Porsche parts resources. I will only allow the books to make their way to Amazon when the sales begin to level off. That should be at least a year, hopefully 18-24 months
I take care of our industry first, to hell with those other guys :-)
Not sure about signed copies, thats totally outside my composition, and my signature sucks. I want people to USE this book as a resource, its just another tool, and nothing more.
