Well, there are more than one type of dual round tip as well. The original tips on my '03 S are matte finish (like the Boxster S emblems) with a part number of 996.111.254.00, whereas the tips that came with the PSE are polished with a part number of 996.111.254.01. The style is the same, but the finish is definitely different. They are interchangeable by just removing one bolt.

Soooo, now it gets even tougher....
