I have the NHP exhaust configuration you described it has a very nice sound.You did not say what your budget was. Agency Power AI, IPD Plenum, 74 MM Throtle body. Doing the mechanical work on my own this was about a $4300 expense. For about 35 HP buy an S.

Well the 2.5L is statistically more reliable than a 2.7 due to the more robust IMS. Stock intake is not a significant restriction unless you increase displacement. If it will pass MOT, headers cat delete, and underdrive pulley might add 10-15hp. Aftermarket tuning software moves the powerband around without any significant improvement in lap times. It will polish your dyno slip a bit though.
