Yes the cables and the shifter box are indeed not cheap, but like you say it's a continuous improvement and a mod I always wanted to do.

I tracked my car with the POC for more than two years and remember sometimes missing third gear and getting fifth instead (operator error…) but it seems that the Numeric cables and shifter box help you minimize this issue.

I would love to drive one Saturday from OC to see your car, ok, ok, to feel the difference on the shifter

Of course if this is ok with you.

Anytime.... It would be worth the drive to try it before you lay out that kind of money.

Ball Bearing shifter

There is an alternative source for the shifter - a fellow Forum member -Ben006 - offers one that gets rave reviews and it is way cheaper.
Ball bearing short shifter !
