Very consistent 18mpg, mostly highway driving.
140k miles on the 2000 S.
Almost never below 3k rpms, with lots of trips to 5k.

1999 2.5 here. I get around 380 to 400 a tank. somewhere in the 27mpg range. Car has 92k on it currently.
