Cylinder order
Can someone share a pic or tell me - yes I did a search on google and couldn't find what I needed - the cylinder order for a 2.7? Meaning is it 135 and 246 on the left and right sides etc.

Jager and the picture are both correct. The confusion is that the picture is a 996 motor.

Cylinders 1 - 2 - 3 are on the passenger side (US), with cylinder 1 being the front (Boxster) and 4 - 5 - 6 are on the driver's side (US), cylinder 4 being the front.
If you work on GM motors... odd numbers are on one side, even numbers on the other.

My bad, I should have read the OP more closely. #1, #2 and #3 are on the passenger side.
I read the OP as a question as to which side #1 was on.
